From competing and coaching to being a mom and helping clients through real estate, every part of my life has taught me valuable lessons and serves as a testament to the power of determination, resilience and a goal-oriented mindset.
Some of my earliest memories are of going to the local ski resort, Dodge Ridge, with my family. It led to a lifelong passion for ski racing—it was my entire life. I was traveling for competitions, learning impendence and a strong work ethic from a young age. Through achievements, practices and even injuries, my love for the sport and being an athlete never wavered.
There came a point when, after I had my first son, Troy, I knew it was time to create a more balanced lifestyle so I could provide him with a great life. I returned to school to earn my bachelor’s degree in communications and worked in marketing. It didn’t take long before I recognized my athletic mindset was better suited for a different path. My father, a highly successful real estate agent in our community for over 36 years, encouraged me to consider following in his footsteps. It was the perfect time to give real estate a try.
In those initial months, learning the ropes and trying to build a book of business, my background in ski racing became a crucial foundation. Experiences and setbacks taught me the greatest lessons. I have had 10 surgeries in my life, each requiring a unique recovery journey. I have honed my sense of resilience and persistence by overcoming these challenges. Flexibility, problem-solving and patience are all skills I gained through many years of ski racing.
Building a career while being a single mom was another challenge. My family has been a constant source of support. With them in my corner, I have been able to “do it all,” building a business while still being very involved in my kids’ lives.
Life’s trials and tribulations have only strengthened my tenacity. In real estate, that means I am not afraid to fight for my clients and deliver the best service possible. Right from the start, I hit the ground running. Having a competitive mindset, I want to go above and beyond what my clients expect from their REALTOR®, setting new industry standards for exceptional service. This client-centric approach is what set me apart from the very beginning.
In 2022, I received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce, and I am in the Top 1% for Keller Williams for Northern California and Hawaii. These achievements represent the commitment I uphold to my clients and the trust they continue to place in me year after year.
With two sons, Troy (18) and Jase (5), real estate has provided me with the flexibility to accommodate each of their busy schedules. Troy has always been involved in competitive sports, destruction derby and motocross—it is amazing to see him pursue his passions and gain those invaluable life skills, just like I did. Jase is already showing interest in motocross and skiing; it will be exciting to see where his passion leads him.
Ski racing continues to be an important part of my life. Through coaching, helping others be successful and competing in the Master's Championship, winning in 2020, I still find fulfillment and joy in the sport. In February 2022, while competing at the World Pro Ski Tour, I suffered a serious injury requiring two surgeries. After the last surgery, I was told I wouldn’t be able to ski for at least a year. But, with a lot of work and determination, I was skiing again in just six months.
This victory is yet another symbol of what is possible with the right mindset. I want my children to face obstacles with the same sense of confidence and commitment because that is how you find success, purpose and genuine fulfillment in life!
When not working, my life is all about being with my kids and family, spending time outside and staying active, including skiing, hiking, Pilates, and CrossFit.
My ultimate driving force is twofold: providing excellent service to my clients and ensuring a fulfilling life for my family. Many of us share the same goals, wanting to do what is best for our families and the people in our lives. That is why I incorporate empathy, compassion, integrity, and honesty into every transaction. Treating you like family, I strive to ease the stresses associated with buying and selling to make your experience as smooth as possible from beginning to end.
By meticulously coordinating the process and finding quick solutions if problems do arise, I ensure you are not only successful but feel well-taken care of and supported every step of the way. My focus is to build a meaningful relationship with you, learn your unique needs and, through my actions, demonstrate my commitment to your success. Even after the transaction is over, our relationship doesn’t end—for every question or needed recommendation, I am here to help!
Sincerely,
